Our Founders
Aaron Butler (CEO) Loneata Brown-Butler (CFO) founders of Empowering Sounds of Movement Inc. Loneata Brown-Butler has been an Educator within Los Angeles Unified School District for over 20 years and presently continues to devote her time faithfully helping the Deaf and Hearing youth become successful adults. She works as an Instructional Aide for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing program teaching independent living skills to prepare the youth and young adults to be efficient & effective within the working world.
Mrs. Butler made time to continue her own education; attending El Camino College where she majored in the Interpreter Training Program. She received a Certificate of Competence in American Sign Language in 2006. While attending El Camino College, she attended the University of Phoenix earning her Business Management degree in 2010.
As an Educator and a student, combining her work experience and her education, she decided to create her own business to help the Deaf and Hearing youth and young adults by innovatively starting a non-profit program called “Empowering Sounds of Movement Inc”. This organization would be a start of a new beginning! She worked vigorously creating programs that represents empowering movement of the future Deaf and Hearing adults’ success!
